Nothing more they can say really. Matters will take their course....I'm not sure whether the individual has been charged with an offence.
Fortunately the flight arrived just under 2 hours late so BA have probably got through relatively unscathed here. In fact it seems from Flightaware that BA have had 3 significant delays in the last 6 flights on this route so perhaps people thing it is just par for the course.
