Not a particularly good analogy. All three you bring up are provided when purchasing a F ticket, as is a meal catered specifically for the F cabin. Reaching back to the coach cabin for one of the buy-on-board items is a stretch of what is promised, although UA should allow it.
Agreed. But it does happen. Last night on SAT - IAD the FA was working to comfort a rattled couple in F. At one point in diffusing the potential problem she offered offered a snack box. In the end it was taken and seemed to calm everything down.
