I would suggest getting 2 backup cards (1) no fee Citi Double Cash for use in the US and (2) Chase IHG card as mentioned above as it has no foreign transaction fee when you travel aboard. I would not necessary put much domestic spend on IHG card as double cash card might yield better value.
