My one FLL-area stay with Hilton was the Marina Hilton.

I actually quite enjoyed that stay, but it's in an odd location and doesn't have direct beach access. Very much *not* a party hotel. Small pool area, quiet outdoor bar, good restaurant, and nice rooms. We just did a quick weekend stay there and had a rental car to go do other things - wasn't really a beach trip. Wouldn't really qualify for the original "beachfront" purpose of this thread, but would be on my list if I was looking for specifically for a place to stay in Ft. Lauderdale.
