A while ago (about 3 months ago) I saw my status on the PSK page change to
"Application is under review at Regional Passport Office"

Today I logged in and the status had changed back to:

GEP Verification Process has been initiated on your application. No queries would be entertained in relation to your GEP application status at the Passport Offices and PSP Call Centre. You may contact CBP for further updates on the processing of your GEP application.
