Sure enough, it was not the same, seeing 35xx birds where there should be 63xx birds will certainly take some necessary getting used to. It will be a tough transition for any 747 enthusiast. Again, I can only imagine how the crews feel.
A350 Isn't even a really nice looking plane, it just looks new. But it doesn't have any character as the 747 had. I liked when I was little how every airport I went to I saw the 747, it was a plane I looked forward to seeing. A350 doesn't have that appeal.
