Last time I flew in to ORD was July 2016 from AMS and I had to use those kiosks at immigration but then I still had to wait for a TSA agent to check everything. That probably took about 20-25 minutes.
But
IF MAN has CBP preclearance like AA told apparently told you (and I don't see that on their website) you'd arrive at a domestic terminal and connect without immigration (as you did that prior to arrival) and already past TSA. I hope someone with more knowledge chimes in....
