I'm usually bopping around two or three times within the cabin to say hello to the family. On the 777-300, it's more obvious since everyone has to be visited individually. Kids are teens, so they don't NEED attention, but I find it kills the boredom and if I'm on the way to or from the lavs I'll chat for a minute.
My wife will give me a little head nod when it's bothersome to others, but I am certainly guilty of this somewhat annoying activity. I tend to not be bothered by other family members- within the same cabin- doing the same on long flights.
Now that you've read this thread (and how annoying it is to the rest of us), will you stop?
