I think that they might have slightly miscalculated the number of miles but the order of magnitude is correct. Before April, this ticket would have earned me circa 23K miles. For this ticket, the loss in the number of miles compared to now will be of about 85%.

I think that this dwarfs any airline miles or hotel points devaluation that I have ever experienced.
