1) If I've asked for something and there is a charge, don't do it, then tell me there's a charge, and don't set it such that I find out about said charge when I inquire about my folio.

SPG is about uniformity and a consistent brand. This is not the case here.
With apologies, that uniformity is NOT the case with Luxury Collection (or Tribute Portfolio). The only uniformity is about elite recognition and benefits; hotel services are not part of that equation.
The issue you seem to have was with the execution of butler service at one particular hotel done poorly. Your interest in drawing conclusions about and therefore eliminating all butler services at most or all LC Hotels is faulty IMO.
