Have a wonderful trip. NZ is amazing. Just very expensive. And HI is also wonderful. Unclear if you are Thinking of HI — YYZ. If so, it’s ACr, unfortunately. Very uncomfortable.
fyi, I’ve done the SYD-AKL sector (and return) to connect with AC33. Worked out well. Service in J on ANZ was excellent. Food somewhat of a disappointment but an improvement over AC. Real champagne served. Comfortable pods on the wide body.
NB: unless you overnight in SYD, one leaves AKL early in order to connect. Makes for a very long trip. As you have probably seen, not all flights on this sector are wide body.
