Looking towards the north side of Hyde Park at this stage, as opposed to the south. I think I might end up going for LHR unless the A350 onboard experience provides a convincingly better (and more value) use of my points over the 777 + arrivals lounge access combination. At the moment, it doesn't sound like that is the case.
I'm not fussed if I take the Tube or Heathrow Express.

The overnight flight might get you an extra full day in London, but if you spend a few hours in the arrivals lounge, the overall benefit is going to be limited.
The majority of the available direct options given to me when I try and redeem for London flights on AM is for overnight flights ex-HKG. Only one of the direct LHR options was CX253 (afternoon departure, arrival mid-evening into LHR), which I'm not a fan of.
Personally, I don't see the value of using my points to fly in J for a day flight, otherwise I would've picked PEY or even Y.
