I also am choosing points + points this year. 20 points per dollar spent adds them to the HHonors account quite HHandily. And, there are special offers like the AMEX one as well: my next stay is in a couple of days at the Tokyo Narita Airport Hilton on the 1000 PTS UPGRADE BB rate, booked and paid for with AMEX.
