Another way of looking at is like this.

You are in Sweden (does not matter how you got there). You walk up to the counter in the airport and want to buy a RT ticket to SEA and back. No problem sir - credit card please.

As to your original flight to Sweden - could be paid, award, train from some other airport, boat - your choice.
