There's now a Visa Checkout integration with Android Pay and Samsung Pay. It's conceivable you might be able to use one of those two mobile payment services in conjunction with VC to trigger 3X. AFAIK nobody on this thread has ever tried it, however, and I don't have the card. If you've got an Android device somewhere, you might as well try a modest test payment...nothing to lose.
