As a SEN, I hardly ever get called by my name in short-haul eco. Happens certainly considerably less than 10% of the time I'm greeted by name. Again, OP was talking about "short hops" such as FRA-VIE, flying LH, and "sitting in Y."
as SEN it also rarely happened to me.
then again, my last flights were all delayed so purser was ‚forced‘ to talk to me anyway to deliver the message from HON service regarding rebooking etc (that again is standard)
