There are certainly many, many jobs where the superficial observation of the tasks required would say that 99% of the job is doing nothing (and any lay person could do), and the 1% of the task requires calling on years and years of education, training, and expertise, for which the person is paid highly. And must be gotten right.

But working as a flight attendant is not such a job, in the training or execution of it.
