Are you booking flights or holiday packages? AFAICT, the airline portion works fine, it's the holiday package site that is a flaming disaster, and much of social media would agree with that.

I used to work IT and I know quite a few tricks for baulky websites. NOTHING has worked on the BA site, including deleting all cookies from my system and a shutdown and restart. I didn't use the back button ever, I tried at least 15 different links/promos on the site and it was the same annoying, useless message for every one of them.

Expedia is happy to take my money without giving me any of the hassle BA gave me.
