I can't possibly see how driving SFO-LAS and back in any vehicle is going to be cheaper than $76.
It's almost a 9 hour drive. So I'd definitely need a car for two days. The cheapest Zipcar available to me is $79/day.
At that price, I could actually fly round-trip in Y. And as much as I hate Y, it's better than driving.
