If you do end up cancelling I would greatly appreciate some screen grabs of the rebook / refund options mentioned - they didn't make clear to me that the alternative flight could include a different carrier

I plan on purchasing a new ticket and pursuing via MCOL if needs be - the recent Ryanair debarcle made it crystal clear that this option needs to be offered e.g. this letter from the CAA
