I'll definitely look into that after I turn 25. I'm actually only 23 right now, and I'm an AAA member under my grandparents. So it makes more sense for me to book with them, as it waives the underage fee. I think it would probably be cheaper (at the moment) to pay for the insurance everytime rather than the underage fee everytime.

That's a good point, thank you!

I guess I was just looking at is as "why would someone pay for the LIS when there is already liability", especially in someplace like manhattan where the majority of traffic moves very slowly. If it ere someplace like LA (which I believe doesn't have primary included anyway), I would 100% always get it. But I guess some people just want peace of mind regardless, or have a bigger overall budget to work with.
