Back last year I booked a KE connecting int'l flight, to an OZ int'l arrival, with 90 minutes connection, knowing that it would be fine at ICN, even if the OZ flight arrives at the satellite. Little did I know that KE will be moving out of the main terminal and moving to the new smaller T2. There is no information online on the ICN official site (
Arrival) about T2, no terminal maps, nothing. (Seems like about to be a really botched rollout of T2, with the public being left in total dark about this, esp. the countless daily transit pax..)
So my question is this: is there ANY information anywhere about ICN T1->T2 int'l->int'l transfers: how it'll be done (train or something?), confirmation that so can be done inside security without needing to clear customs and immigration twice, schedule of the transit vehicle (if not every ~2 minutes or so), how long it'll take, and will KE transit desks be still present at T1 (to timely print the boarding pass, since KE still to this day has no actual online check-in for int'l flights - truly mind boggling how behind KE is vs. the rest of the world airlines; by the time we get to T2 it may be past the check-in cut-off time, and doing the KE online check-in just provides a useless image without any scannable QR code)?
Any help, advice and pointers if there is some information on ICN T1<->T2 transit anywhere online will be much appreciated.
Our flights are: 9am arrival @ ICN on OZ (int'l), at Main Terminal (or Satellite), and then 10:30am departure from ICN on KE (Int'l), which will be now inconveniently located at the new smaller T2.
