Thanks everyone for your replies,

It is indeed a rack mount chassis ( No computer parts or hard drives inside) literally a chassis.

I just figured flying it would be far cheaper as I can get a return 8000 avios + £35 vs a whole day on the train and £100 + and I can have some food and drink in the Lounges

Now I just need to work out with picking it up in Wimbledon whether I want to go via Gatwick or Heathrow. ( I won the auction btw)

Looking at the dimensions of it more closely it actually is within baggage sizing and would probably fit in my suitcase

As a side question if I book an avios redemption r/t from Glasgow I am correct in thinking that this is a normal fare e.g NOT hand baggage only? Therefore I can actually check two bags as gold if I wanted?
