Transit in SIN: How does it work?

Hello there!
I had one of my great Mile-Burning-Ideas and therefore i'll be flying MUC-AUH-SIN - AUH; AUH-MUC in March with EY.
The flights are all on the same etkt-nr. but were booked as a multistop flight MUC-SIN, SIN-AUH, AUH-MUC.

MUC-SIN and SIN-AUH will be on the same day, so i'll be arriving in SIN at 10 am and will be leaving with the same plane at 7pm. The question is now: do i have to clear immigration or can i simply go to the transfer desk?

The airport's website says: "To be able to transfer flights without clearing immigration, you would have to have purchased transfer facilities as part of your flights. Most connecting flights purchased together would already have transfer facilities included. Do check with your purchasing agent if you are unsure."
That means to me, that i have to clear immigration. Is this correct? Or can i use the transfer desk and stay airside? I don't want to clear immigration because i planned to go to the airside hotel and take a good nap till my flight leaves.

I hope someone can help.

Regards

Felix
