Unfortunately I don't have any advice, but I booked an ex EU from Dublin to Seattle last week for this March, and paid £1100. The long haul flights are in VS, but at the time there was an option for all/most BA for only slightly more.
Indeed, this still remains the cheapest option but not if the OP is looking for TPs. Perhaps he would rather fly this one with VS and save the £1-1.3 saving to then fly a better value TP run.
