Seeing as this is an intercontinental flight, I would assume that wouldn't apply (although I'd be very pleased if it did).
To be honest, I've never looked at that page. My comments were based on experience, my own as well as people I know. I know a number of non-status people who have flown with AC in business class internationally over the past few years and they've never been charged a fee for a bike.
