Hi

Been trying to book 11D for an upcoming flight but it is blocked. We are a large party travelling with an infant so need to all be near the bassinet. I called to try and get 11D assigned but was told that this is not possible as the seat is blocked by the airport and therefore can only be unblocked at check in. They also said when a flight is not full 11D/G will typically be flown empty.

Is is this correct?
