Yes, enhancements has been overused in the past. However, you are trying to apply a selection of historic communications to a specific example (liquor changes) where there’s been no external communication.

Although not in specific response to the quoted post, I will reiterate my original on-topic point here to avoid subsequent posts in violation of the FlyerTalk Rules and Guidelines: one reason that the official company participation has disappeared is that the value of engagement with the entire community has declined. Although some members can be identified, United doesn’t know who most of us are and if our unique and challenging opinions even matter. Investing time with a challenging audience requires some confidence it will pay off. Clearly, there was a good return in the past. Most will say the lack of current participation indicates United is stupid or clueless, but it could very well mean there’s no longer a payoff for putting up with a generally negative environment.
