Hi all. I flew into PVG from MEL this past Tuesday night and noticed some great sights from the sky while sitting on the right side of the plane. I was hoping somebody could help me figure out what I was looking at. I saw what looked like a really long bridge, nicely light up in a blended purple/blue color. My internet sleuthing suggests this was probably the Donghai Bridge. As you can see from the flight map, we zig-zagged around it a bit on the approach. Just before that we also passed what I can only describe as a ginormous light up circular area (maybe a road surrounding water?) with buildings that appeared fairly tall. My best guess is that this was a resort/casino area, but are there any of those in this proximity? My best comparison of the general shape is to that of the man-made islands in Dubai, just with buildings around the perimeter. I'm really curious, so if anyone has any photos or ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Edit: Looking deeper it looks like it was probably Dishui Lake. I guess this thread is already closed :-)
