ryanair: new cabin baggage rule and laptops
Hi, I was wondering about ryanair's new cabin baggage rules (from Jan 15, 2018) in relation to laptops. No regular laptop (13" or more) can fit in a 35x20x20 cm container of any sort. On the other hand, laptops should not go in the cargo hold. Therefore, is it true that the only way to travel with a laptop is to buy priority? What would happen, hypothetically, if a non-priority passenger shows up at the gate with no luggage whatsoever except a bare 15" laptop? 50 EUR charge?
