I did, and not impressed at all. In a city that attracts tens of millions of tourists annually it would have been strange not to be able to pick up pickpockets, scammers of all kind, professional lovers, well in brief those who make their living milking tourists. As a matter of fact, this film reminds me of this very thread!

Even as a victim of both a pickpocket and (a month later) a Roman burglar who managed to open my "secure" door and entered while my huge mean looking dog was barking inside I keep going back to Rome every time I have a chance. It's already been 4 months since my last visit...
