I am heading to RAK Tomorrow for the Formula E racing, (for work related reasons in the paddock but the race ticket is only £14) Race itself starts at 4pm and usually is 40 minutes and with a 6.10p flight and what was said up thread likely to miss the race itself (if I manage to get a BP in the morning and there is a full taxi stand nearby I might just risk it, but plenty to see in the practice and qualifying) See below the availability for this "day hop", airport is 15 mins drive from race

As far as flying Y vs J. I still credit to AA and this return would give me 1,400 EQMs in Y and 4,200 in J. The latter is 4.2% of achieving OWE (Executive Platinum) whereas for BAEC members the 160TP is 10.6% to gold so makes a lot more sense (I will look at AUPs but have learnt the hard way that unless they force a ticket change AA does not usually give credit) plus a fun 6 net hours in Marrakesh

On a round trip to say HKG upgrade to even WT+ is 18% of OWE and upgrade to J is 280TP similar 18% of gold/OWE
