I've not stayed at the IC, but have stayed at The Muse at least six or seven times.

Of the three Kimptons in NYC, it's my least favorite (Ink48, Eventi, and The Muse in that order) but it's a fine hotel. As an Inner Circle member, I am almost always upgraded into a suite. The standard rooms are ok with smaller bathrooms. The windows are small and there's no views; the rooms are a little dark. The property underwent a renovation about two years ago. There's not much traffic noise, which is a plus. The lobby is small and has free wine hour each day at 5 pm. The restaurant, Nios, is pretty good.
