I have an issue.. I'm looking for a trip to punta cana (PUJ) and the best deal out there is from ZFV -> EWR -> PUJ. This is for me, my wife and 2 boys.

I live exactly halfway between ZFV and EWR and would hate to get up at 3.30 am and take a train to ZFV (going the opposite direction) and then take the 5.15 am train from ZFV to EWR (on the way passing through my home) and all of this to take a 9 am flight. What are my options?

Also are these alternative solutions possible?

1) Can I go the previous day and get the ticket from ZFV and then drive from my house to EWR? Should the ticket have to be validated by the conductor inside the train?

2) I take the train from ZFV -> EWR and get all the 4 tickets validated whereas my wife takes the car to EWR. This way I don't have to deal with the luggage and the kids at 4 am in the morning. Coming back , we just skip the last leg and drive the car back from EWR to home..

3) Can we all take the train from Trenton? I can uber from my house to Trenton and take the train to EWR and do the same on my return. The question is while my departure is from ZFV, would I be able to use the ticket from Trenton?
