It's not bad, though if unfamiliar with the airport, the way from where you re-enter the terminal after the transit security check to the shuttle train is oddly not well marked at all. There is a map nearby though which will get you moving in the right direction. You go down 3 sets of escalators I believe (may only be 2 sets). Trains come every few minutes and take only a few minutes to get to the satellite concourse.

With the new terminal opening SQ is moving from the concourse to the main terminal so things should be easier since there's no need to take the train
