Background - I have both a (Canadian) Business and Personal Platinum card (got them in Nov/Dec 2017), and each has a supplementary card for my wife.

My spouse tried to go online today to book a FHR thru the Amex website and got an error that she is unable to do so - she is only allowed to book a "regular" hotel.

I was forwarded to five different people within Amex today and none of them were able to assist until the last person - he stated that the FHR benefit IS extended to the Supplementary card holder BUT they have to call in, they cannot use the online portal. If they want to go online, it has to be done under my account, and put the traveller as herself.
