I received an email AND push notification about the 2X Qmiles offer as part of the Global Travel Boutique. It's not as good as the 5x offer from last year.. but oh well..

Unfortunately, the option to register for this offer DOES NOT show up under my privilege club account. (it does show up in my wife's account)
I've been wanting to book an upcoming trip with QR Business class but I'm just waiting to register for the 2x miles offer. Since it doesn't show up, I got in touch with the Privilege Club customer service. They've finally responded with this:

Our sincere apologies for the delay in replying to you.
We wish to inform you that as per the terms and conditions of the Global Travel Boutique – Global offer (1801PC133), members who are enrolled on or after 01 JAN 2018 are eligible for the offer.
Hence, as your membership profile was enrolled on 09-Feb-2010, we regret to inform you that you are not eligible for the above offer.
We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

I mean, COME ON. It takes less than a minute to find out that all accounts are eligible for this offer.
Terms and conditions are outlined pretty clearly on their site:
● This offer is only applicable to Privilege Club Members main members.
● Booking period: 9 January – 16 January 2018.
● Flights must be taken between 9 January 2018 and 10 December 2018.
● To be eligible for this offer, members must register at qmiles.com before 16 January 2018 by selecting “My offers” on your dashboard menu.
● Members whose travel date is before 16 January 2018 should register at least 24 hours prior to travel.
● Please ensure you quote your Privilege Club membership number at the time of booking or check-in.
● If the passenger is not a Privilege Club member they should enrol at qmiles.com; offer registration will be available for new enrolees within 24hrs from the time of enrolment.
● Bonus Qmiles will be earned over the base Qmiles earned on Qatar Airways flights during the offer period.
● Tier bonuses, promotional bonus Qmiles and family accrued Qmiles will not be taken into account in the calculation of the offer bonus.
● Bonus Qmiles is calculated based on the combination of Booking Date, Flight Date, Cabin, Fare Family Purchased and Booking Channel.
● Offer is applicable only for flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways.
● In case of overlapping campaigns member will get highest bonus Qmiles.
● Members may use this offer more than once during the offer period.
Now, is there any way of escalating this to someone in the Privilege Club who can actually fix this? I've tried reaching out to them through social media and what they have done is just forwarded it to QRPC. This is the reply I finally got from QRPC.
Have any of you faced this kind of issue in the past and managed to resolve it? If so, how?
I suppose there's no point going ahead with the booking and then trying for a retroactive 2x credit - even though my account isn't "registered" for the offer?
