Hong Kong Air (HX) and HK Express: do they enforce carry-on bag weight limit?
Considering both for HKG-TYO flight in March; after reading some recent reviews I'm leaning towards HX.
Both list a carry-on luggage weight limit of 7kg/15 lbs
The dimensions of my bag are okay but I’m afraid they will make me check it if they enforce the weight limit. (Empty bag weighs close to 8 lbs.)
I really don't want to be slowed down by having to go through baggage claim.

Also appreciate comments on either/both airlines; in the past I've flown ANA, but it is dramatically more expensive this time, and the most economical seats not even available for the time I want.
