How to persuade a wife to allow her husband fly on UA

Hi,

I am 2P and will soon be 1P this year. I fly between Philadelphia and Tokyo several times each year. However, I seldom fly over the Pacific on UA in fact - my wife insists US airlines are dangerous due to terrorism! I myself don't agree with her, but she of course gets angry whenever I object to her on anything.

So, do you have any idea how to persuade her? For me, the merits of flying on UA are:

- Economy plus and/or bulkhead seats (for my status in UA)
- 125% or 150% mileage (unlike 70% on ANA)
- Better schedule (I have to leave home at 4am for ANA via Washington)
- up to ~50% less cost (compared to Japanese airlines)

A similar question applies to flights between Philadelphia and Europe. There is US Airways but I have to use LH. You all know how their equipments are different...

P.S. Right, I also cannot eat any beef except Aussie!
