Bringing up an old thread to "honor" the Westin Philadelphia.

$15.95 for the high speed wifi gets you 3 MB download.
$21.95 gets you "enhanced high speed." Enhanced got me 5 MB although, after spending a half hour with tech support (I hate those outsourced tech lines. I can barely hear the person on the other end of the phone.), we got it up to a whopping 8 MB (for now; it's been unstable). It maxes out at 10.

I don't know what's worse, having two different tiers of high speed above basic or 10 MB being considered "enhanced high speed." Either way, I'm going to have to find a new hotel in the city. Reliable and fast internet in 2018 shouldn't be a "nice to have."

I'm sure that there's somebody at this property who decided that they could save a fortune by not offering decent internet access. I'd be interested to know how many people there are like me, booking around it.
