Flight took off on time after minor deicing. PDB and orders were taken front to back while we were still on the ground. Once airborne, hot towels, then more drinks and nut mix.
Starters were good - I appreciated the mix of fruit (kiwi, pineapple, strawberries) with only a little melon. I'm not a melon fan and I'm happy to see these other fruits in the middle of winter.
Main course - I had the quiche which was... strange. The quiche itself wasn't bad; it was pretty heavy on swiss/gruyere cheese flavor and the pastry was flaky, which I appreciated. The sausages were just gross... weird flavor combination. The spaghetti squash was served like it was supposed to be shredded hashbrowns with some cheese on top. Clearly an attempt to be healthy. It was okay, but I suspect many won't like it. Seatmate had the pancakes - there were three of them, silver dollar size, with warm blueberry compote. Bread basket was also passed twice.
So far, this Atlanta-based flight crew is very attentive and upbeat - coming through 3 times so fare (3 hours yet to go).
