Is it possible to book non-FHR rate for FHR hotel? amex travel website only shows FHR rate for FHR hotel, even if i search from amextravel . com website (instead of the normal americanexpressfhr website).

In this case, 5x MR point is worth more than the extra amenity offered by FHR. So, my question is, is it possible to book FHR hotel on amextravel website for a non-FHR (i.e. standard) rate???

I think amextravel site used to show both FHR and non-FHR rates for FHR hotels, but it seems like newly designed amextravel site doesn't offer this option anymore.
