Yes, it is indeed now closed, since the end of May. I was there for four days just prior to the shutdown. The service here, ad the food, was quite good and I like the front desk staff. Nice to easily get the Wall Street Journal, Star Ledger, USA Today, and the Bergen Record. No free NY Times, however!

And yes, the Sheraton is the superior property, IMHO!
