You could try calling or tweeting them and asking for an extension, but I would not count on that happening.
Another option however is to book your itinerary now and pay for the works upgrade. This includes a seat in the front, a checked bag, a carry on bag, priority boarding and refundability. Then, once November opens up for booking you could change your trip to November without paying any change fee. If you were planning on checking and carrying on luggage anyway, this would make sense, though the works upgrade might not be worth it otherwise.
