I am flying out of San Diego, and the Airspace Lounge is in Terminal 2. I am flying Southwest, which is serviced out of Terminal 1.

I am asking for a specific scenario in San Diego, but my question is really a general one, since I imagine this situation happening often. Example: The Centurion Lounge at SFO is in the United Terminal. But often, I am not flying United, but want access to the Centurion Lounge.

Thanks!
I do this all the time in San Diego. Most of the TSA agents don't even notice, but even if they do they let me in if I explain I am there to use the lounge. One time the agent called over a supervisor and the supervisor said it was fine to let me in to use the lounge.

I probably wouldn't do this if I didn't have TSA precheck, because as others have mentioned you exit terminal 2 and clear security in terminal 1 after you leave the lounge. But I don't think the walk from T2 to T1 is that bad.
