Hi, I recently completed the platinum challenge, I received emails from SPG congratulating me for Becoming Gold on 8th November and Platinum on the 9th November.
I’d booked 3 x rooms that we checked in to on the 27/10 and out of on 8/11 therefore shouldn’t I have achieved Gold on the 29/10 (9 nights) and platinum on the 1st Nov?
i took a business class flight with Emirates on the 8th Nov and was hoping I’d get SPG points by then for reaching platinum but they won’t award them as they’ve said I wasn’t platinum on the 8th.

The terms and conditions of the challenge state that it can take up to 7 days for your Platinum status to be reflected on your account.
"Upgrade to Platinum status will occur within 5–7 days of the stay posting to the member's account with the 18 Eligible Paid Night completed."
If it hasn't happened by the 8th day, you should send an email to Platinum Concierge at
[email protected] and make an inquiry.
