If I was just overnighting and not planning to get out and about, there is no way I would stay anywhere other than LM or Aloft at KL Sentral. I haven't seen the PJ properties, but there is no way the convenience of the train can be beat.
If I were planning to be out and about, Westin KL or perhaps the Sheraton Imperial (where I've been a frequent guest) are better located.
That said we just spent the weekend in KL at the Grand Hyatt and used the Hop On Hop Off bus. Catch that near the Aloft/LM as it is leaving KL Sentral and you have a great tour of the city before it arrives back at the airport for 30 mins of KL Sentral's various stops.
