stretcher seats are the last rows of the 747 on the window .. is they have a medical emergency that seats can be trasformed into a flat " bed ".
some station managers allow that if you are pregnant or have a broken leg rather then upgrading you ... but tg is usually generous in upg if you ask the right way and if they are full... they key is that is the day of dep all classes show 0 then be early there as that might give the station manager an excuse to upg your gf... cause the closer the flight comes the more the pax list usually goes down due to now show and then he has no excuse to op upg you ... however depends on the mood of the station manager ... you might consider that you can upg lax to bkk for usd 650 to business at the airport if there are seats left ....
