Yes, there are now awards out there that require a roundtrip purchase and this has been discussed here several times. However, I'm seeing one-way awards starting 20.5K and many at 24K on the 14th. The 55K options are only showing on meandering 3 segment routings and consist of 3 separate fares (examples of broken fare awards). None of those routings show up when doing a roundtrip search so you are pretty much comparing apples and oranges.

The roundtrip award fares all have an 'R' in their fare codes. For a roundtrip outbound on the 14th, the cheapest fare is a YSVR140 at 14K which requires Tue/Wed/Sat travel and a Sat night or min 3 day stay. On the return, if you can wait until the 20th there's a YSVR125 12.5K fare for a total of 26.5K total. The 12.5K fare is only offered on select dates starting on the 20th. Going out past mid-March, I'm not really seeing many roundtrip fare options for this route. Just mostly one-way awards starting at YSV150 15K awards (note the lack of the R in the fare code). So the cheapest roundtrip option would just be a simply combination of these two one-way 15K awards for 30K total. The YSV150 awards have a 60-day advance purchase requirement.
