I contacted Icelandair to get seats assigned and Icelandair states that the ticket is in their new Economy Lite fare which means zero checked bags. I called PL and they tell me that since baggage policies are subject to change, they will not do anything. To this day, PL's website shows that all economy passengers are entitled to one bag. I escalated an issue with PL's management and the agent tells me that they've had issues with Virgin Atlantic as well. I haven't heard back from PL and it's already been three days. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can possibly do? Thank you!!
I am afraid I have no suggestions for dealing with Priceline. However, Icelandair's new Economy Lite in fact comes with no luggage allowance and no advanced seat assignments. You could try to contact your credit card company to cancel, but I am not sure you will find a better deal even when taking luggage into account...
